Christian Marriage and Couples Counseling

Rebuild communication, trust, and closeness, with a psychologist who honors the covenant you made.

Most couples who come to see me still love each other. What they've lost is the ability to talk without it turning into the same fight, or the closeness they used to have. Some are carrying a betrayal. Others have simply drifted into living as roommates. Wherever you are, your marriage is worth the effort, and you don't have to figure it out alone.

Couples often come to me for help with:

  • Arguments that escalate or go in circles

  • Feeling unheard, criticized, or shut out

  • Rebuilding trust after infidelity or broken promises

  • Emotional or physical distance

  • Stress from parenting, finances, in-laws, or blended families

  • Major transitions: a new baby, an empty nest, illness, retirement

  • Premarital preparation for engaged couples

How I help

I use proven marital therapy methods and communication skills training to help you see the patterns that keep you stuck, and to practice new ways of talking, listening, and repairing after conflict. We'll draw on biblical teaching about love, forgiveness, and grace in ways that fit both of you. I don't take sides. My job is to help the marriage.

If only one of you is ready

That's common. One spouse can start individual counseling focused on the relationship, and the other is welcome to join later.

A note on safety

If there is abuse or you feel unsafe at home, joint sessions may not be the right first step. Let me know when you reach out, and I'll help you think through safer options.
